The shield of is partitioned in two sections. Section1 - or castellated castle with four towers and semi-open gate on the vert field. Section 2 - three or roundels (bezant) on azure field. In the centre of the shield there is the small shield - the rider (St. George), slaying the argent dragon on the sanguine field.


Flag of Adjara Autonomous Republic

On the argent field of the dexter canton of the Flag there is the sanguine cross depicted, the branches of which touch the canton edges; there are single sanguine crosses (Flag of Georgia) depicted between the branches of the cross. The azure field of the Flag is partitioned with three argent (white) bars. The canton occupies the 3/7 of height of the flag and the 3/7 of width of the flag. Proportion of the Flag is 2:3.
